Stage 1: Order Receipt
After we receive your order at our Livermore Facility it will be checked in and inspected. Each order is assigned to a customer support representative who will follow the order through the entire production process. You will receive email updates and correspondence from this person as your order is processed. They are also available to you if you have questions or need assistance. You may contact them via phone, live chat and email.
Stage 2: Holding Queue (In-Line for Production)
Once your order is checked in, it will be placed in our Holding Queue. This area is where you order resides until we start the production process. We seal your order in a plastic storage tote until the production phase begins. This prevents accidental mixing of orders and keeps our production facility organized.
Stage 3: Production
Production Phase 1: Preparation
Once your order moves into production, you will be notified via email. This first phase of production includes the preparation of your items (rewinding and repairing tapes, inspecting, repairing and cleaning film). This is the time we organize your items to make sure they are transferred in the correct order and combined as you have requested.
Production Phase 2: Transfer
We transfer your items to a computer via our enhanced digital conversion method. We use MPEG capture cards with video enhancing and time-base correcting controls. This is the best mode of capture available in the industry.
Production Phase 3: Authoring
If you have chosen DVD transfer, the next phase is to author the captured video files to a DVD. Each DVD will be authored as an auto-play DVD with chapter marks every 5 minutes.
Production Phase 4: Burning and Error Checking
Once the DVD files have been created via the authoring phase, we then burn the files to DVD. Each final DVD is then checked for errors and tested to work on multiple DVD players.
Production Phase 5: Labeling and Packaging
This is the final step of production. Each DVD will be labeled based on the level of service and packaged accordingly. The order is checked for accuracy and then moved out of production.
Stage 4: Quality Control and Shipping
Once your order has finished production it is moved to Quality Control and Shipping Preperation. A specialist checks for the quality and if there are any problems with the order, it will be placed back into production for correction. Once your order has passed quality control, It will then be prepared for shipping. You will receive a final email from us with tracking information and an estimate on transit time.
